Dedicated to nourishing the minds, hearts, and souls of Haitian and Dominican children in the Dominican Republic
Our primary focus areas are villages in the Puerto Plata Province where our Dominican staff visits weekly, sharing the Gospel, providing meals, and ministering to the needs of the community.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
Rising Sun Missions holds fast to all the doctrines of faith as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed. In condensed form: We believe in the triune God - God the Father Almighty; Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son; and the Holy Spirit. We believe salvation comes “by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.” We believe the Holy Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments (the Bible) are the infallible, Spirit inspired word of God and contain all things necessary to salvation. We believe in the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
